Steven M. Tilton
Steven was born in Topeka, Kansas., on January 2, 1960. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1978. He attended Washburn University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in May 1982. He received a Master of Business Administration in December 1984. He subsequently attended Washburn University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in May 1988. Since his graduation from law school and passage of the Kansas Bar Examination, Steve has devoted full-time effort to the practice of law for over 20 years.
Steve is a member of the Topeka Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Kansas Association for Justice and sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR). Steve is admitted and licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Since October 2003, Steven Tilton has continued his father's work in helping people. Steve Tilton has practiced Social Security disability law since 1989 and devotes 100 percent of his practice to Social Security issues. Steve possesses two decades of dedicated service to individuals wrongly denied Social Security disability benefits. Both attorneys have had measured success in handling difficult claims and issues at each level of appeal.
